The Head Start students at Orr Elementary School participated in the publishing of the I Love School book. Their contributions included personalized drawings and sentiments of what they love about school.
Inspired by Principal Lauren Smith, a publisher, the children wanted to share how they have grown to love books and their understanding of what an author and illustrator does.
Their teacher Ms. Latraya Lane helped her students host a book signing for classmates and family.
