The dogs were just as excited as the teachers and students in the Career & Technology Center (CTC) Animal Science Program when they received a $500.00 check from the Cooperative Teachers Credit Union (CTCU).
The money resulted from CTCU’s National Pet Day contest on their Facebook page.
“On National Pet Day, we wanted to do something fun with our employees and support our community,” Marketing & Business Development Manager Meghan Reily said.
CTCU posted employee pet photos on their Facebook page and asked the community to vote for their favorite by liking their picture. Every "like" equaled a $1 donation to Tyler ISD's Animal Science Program at the CTC, up to $500. Check out the adorable pets on Facebook.
