Tyler Legacy High School senior athletes signed letters of intent to play at the collegiate level today. The signing ceremony took place in the varsity gym before the athletes’ families, coaches, and teammates.
Tyler Legacy athletes signing letters of intent include:
Sam Eckert, Swim – Columbia University
- Four-year varsity swimmer, team captain junior/senior year
- Eight-time District Champion, three times 1st team All-District honors
- 2022 District MVP, twice 1st team All-Region honors, twice 2nd team All-State honors
- Advanced to 6A State Championship Meet junior/senior year
- 2022 6A State Championship Meet, finished 7th in 50Free, 9th in 100Free, 7th in both 200Free and 400Free relays
- Three-time NISCA All American
- Finished Tyler Legacy career as a five-time school record holder in both the 50Free and 100Free and a member of the 200Medley, 200Free, and 400Free relays.
- Academic All-State Honors, 3.91 GPA

Kayda Kinch, Volleyball – Trevecca Nazarene University

There is not an athlete that I have coached that has dealt with more off the court during a season than Kayda did this year.
