Congratulations to Carolina Herrera, Head Start student at Peete Elementary School, for being named the District Elementary Student of the Month for April.
Carolina is always modeling for other students how to listen to the teacher and how to work hard to achieve her goals. She supports other students by helping them in any way she can, without the teacher having to ask her.

The Tyler ISD District Students of the Month each receive a certificate and medal, sponsored by Texas Bank and Trust.
Students are nominated by their teachers and/or school principal and are recognized for their excellence in many areas, including academics, leadership, campus and community involvement. These outstanding qualities lead to successful student outcomes both in and outside of the classroom.
