three high school students stand holding big checks for $1000 each

In an effort to promote safe driving practices to Northeast Texas high school students and the community, NET RMA awarded ten eligible students $1,000 each for college expenses for the second annual Linda Thomas Safe Driving Scholarship.

Three Tyler Legacy seniors, Charles Lu, Camille Moore, and Lilian Sue Winningham, each received $1,000 scholarship to apply toward tuition, books, supplies, etc.

Each student wrote an essay explaining the importance of driving safe on our roads. They all mentioned that it is easy to be distracted while driving and wrote about the impact it can have on lives if they are careless.
