Congratulations to Noe Teran, 7th grader at Birdwell Dual Language Immersion School, for being named the District Secondary Student of the Month for May.
One important characteristic Noe has taken with him from being at Birdwell since kindergarten is his ability to help others.
The Tyler ISD District Students of the Month each receive a certificate and medal, sponsored by Texas Bank and Trust.
Students are nominated by their teachers and/or school principal and are recognized for their excellence in many areas, including academics, leadership, campus and community involvement. These outstanding qualities lead to successful student outcomes both in and outside of the classroom.
