Tyler ISD is proud to announce a new collaboration with global climate innovator Trane Technologies to provide free access to Discovery Education’s Experience platform to all students in the district.
Through a new web-based experience produced by Trane Technologies and Discovery Education, Tyler ISD teachers can access videos and classroom curriculum that will transport students outside of their classrooms for lessons in real-world work Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) environments. It will also provide students direct access to Trane Technologies professionals for personal in-class learning. Trane Technologies has made a three-year commitment through its corporate citizenship program, Sustainable Futures, that layers in a robust suite of STEM and sustainability educational resources aimed at improving students’ STEM acumen and interest.

Trane Technologies’ Tyler plant employs 2,100 people, many of whom attended or have children in Tyler schools. Our company’s purpose is to boldly challenge what’s possible for a sustainable world. This partnership’s resources do just that, inspiring students to explore themes and topics, problem solve and develop creative solutions for the future.”
The K-12 learning platform, developed by Discovery Ed and Trane Technologies, provides useful teaching and assessment tools that give educators innovative ways to use amazing content every day, save time on tasks, and connect with each other for inspiration.
