For the twentieth consecutive year, Tyler ISD has been awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) and the Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Association of School Business Officials International.
These recognitions are for the district's Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) for the fiscal year ending August 31, 2022.
The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in governmental accounting and financial reporting, and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by a government and its management.
"Tyler ISD is proud of our continued dedication to the highest standards in governmental accounting and financial reporting," Tyler ISD Executive Director of Financial Services Kasey Russell said. "They are a testament to our unwavering commitment to financial transparency and accountability."
