Congratulations to our District Elementary Teacher of Month, Bridget Gregory, 3rd grade teacher at Rice Elementary School.

Ms. Gregory's commitment to student success is evident as she successfully “looped” (kept the same students) her class from second grade to third grade this academic year, making significant strides in fostering student growth. Since joining the Rice community in December 2021, she has proven herself as a transformative force in the classroom, turning around a struggling environment into one that thrives with enthusiasm and learning.

Not only does Ms. Gregory excel in her teaching duties, but she also goes above and beyond by actively participating in various campus and district committees. Her willingness to volunteer and represent her team showcases her dedication to not only her students but the broader educational community. This recognition not only celebrates her achievements but also highlights the positive impact she has made as she continues to contribute to the success of Rice Elementary School.

“It’s all about relationships,” Ms. Gregory said. “I think it is important to form individual and meaningful relationships with my students. Discovering their unique abilities and making them feel special helps them to be successful in the classroom. I feel the need to ensure that each student is considered and represented in my lessons and teaching. I also enjoy supporting my students outside the classroom, whether it be attending their sporting events or dance recitals. It means a lot to them to see their teacher in the stands!”
