Congratulations to our District Teacher of Month, Vincent Bowie, Algebra/Geometry teacher at Boulter Middle School.
Mr. Bowie is also the lead mentor at Boulter. He always has a positive attitude with students, parents, and teachers. During his off period, he can be found in the classrooms of first year teachers assisting them with instruction and later providing guidance in classroom management.
During transitions – and before and after school – you will see him high fiving students and telling them, “You’re my favorite student” – and most of the students he does not even teach! When one student overheard him tell her friend that she was his favorite student, she asked him how she could be when he just told her that she was. His explanation was simple – he stated, “You are all my favorites because you are here and because you make a difference!”
