two girls kneading bread of a table

In Mr. Zapico's middle school classroom, a new kind of business venture is taking shape, and it smells delicious. Students are not just learning about fractions and yeast; they're getting a hands-on education in entrepreneurship through the art of baking bread.

As flour dusts the air and the scent of freshly baked bread wafts through the halls, these young business minds are kneading their way into the world of commerce.  It is not just a culinary experience—it's a lesson in life skills and enterprise.

While the focus may be on baking bread, the lessons learned extend far beyond the kitchen. Students develop crucial life skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, and financial literacy. They also cultivate values like responsibility, initiative, and the importance of hard work. These skills and values are the yeast that help these young entrepreneurs rise to the challenges of the future.

The students plan everything with B&B and even help with advertising their small business.  Each week, they send a Google form for staff to place their orders and their product gets better each week.  Through the smell of fresh bread and the taste of success, these students are proving that entrepreneurship can be as enriching as it is delicious.
