Career and Technology Marketing students took part in the UT Tyler Mock Interview Event, hosted by Gail Johnson. Our wonderful new teacher, Mrs. Billington, prepared the students by having them create professional resumes, and practice public speaking and interviewing. Students networked with several local businesses, including Cavender's, CTCU, Holt Cat and Playground Hosting to name a few. After networking, students had breakout sessions for Q & A and resume exchange with local business representatives. Finally, students met for closing, as Mrs. Gail Johnson and other leaders gave students final pieces of advice. It was a very insightful and educational experience.

Gail has more than 30 years of professional experience working for Fortune 550/1000 companies and high-tech startups. Gail has taught career management and critical thinking courses at The University of Texas at Tyler since 2005, her primary teaching interest focuses on professional branding as a career management strategy.
