Our amazing teachers, Ms. Zuber and Mrs. Williams, traveled with her senior Career and Technology Cosmetology students to Dallas for their Practical Exam. The best news? They all passed! This is an amazing accomplishment for the students and shows the absolute dedication of Ms. Zuber as their instructor, as well as the entire CTC Cosmetology team! The students are now considered Licensed Cosmetology Operators! If that doesn't show the importance of Career and Technical Education, I am not sure what does. Congratulations CTC Cosmetology students!

So now what? That's the exciting part!

A licensed cosmetology operator can work in various employment settings, including:

  1. Salon Stylist: Providing hair cutting, styling, and coloring services to clients in a salon.

  2. Esthetician: Specializing in skincare treatments like facials, waxing, and makeup application.

  3. Nail Technician: Offering services such as manicures, pedicures, and nail art.

  4. Makeup Artist: Working on special events, photo shoots, film sets, or with bridal parties.

  5. Salon Manager: Overseeing daily operations, staff management, and customer service in a salon.

  6. Cosmetology Instructor: Teaching cosmetology courses at beauty schools or vocational institutions.

  7. Product Sales Representative: Selling beauty products for companies like makeup, skincare, or hair care brands.

In other words, they are able to gain successful employment and bring home that bacon! These are just a few examples of the employment opportunities available to licensed cosmetology operators.
