Whoooo’s ready for Homecoming? If you would like to make a mum and/or garter for next Friday, Mrs. Baucom will be hosting workshops during Advisory. Please bring supplies such as ribbon, bells, letter stickers, and of course the mum! Most supplies can be bought at Hobby Lobby or other craft stores.

Have you heard??? ECHS' 1st Annual Homecoming is next week! Remember that the "dance" is casual, so no need to purchase anything formal; but we're going to have some FUN and hope everyone can participate! If you have questions, please contact Mrs. Powell, Mrs. Wright or Mr. Wahl.

Next Friday, September 10th, Tyler ISD will observe a Red, White, and Blue Day in honor of the innocent civilians and first responders that perished that day, first responders that assisted in the evacuation and recovery of citizens, and military personnel who served bravely, some giving the ultimate sacrifice over the past 20 years, in response to the attack.
Thank you for your participation and for honoring these citizens.

Don't forget that our last Beginning of the Year Parent Symposium is this Friday in the ECHS Library from 1-2 PM! If you missed Parent University or just want a refresher or have any burning questions to ask, this opportunity is for you! We start at 1 PM and promise to get you out before 2 PM!
World's Finest Chocolate sales start today! We are asking that every student sell 2 boxes in order to bulk up our staff and student activity funds. Sales will continue until Oct. 1, when all money is due. Mr. Borel will be taking money on Tues. and Wed. during advisory.
Students and parents, a couple of reminders for the first week back:
1. Start time is 8:05 AM and students should be in their seats ready to go by that time.
2. Student pick up is at 3:45 PM. Please refrain from picking your child up between 3:00 PM and 3:45 PM as this causes congestion in the office area. Teachers are teaching from bell-to-bell, and we don't want students to miss any instruction.
3. Breakfast and lunch will both be offered free of charge to every student.
4. Juniors and Seniors are expected to be on the ECHS campus during the first week back. If not in class, Juniors will be housed in the Cafe and Seniors in the Library.
5. Students are allowed to order food in as long as it is ordered at least 45 minutes prior to one's lunch time. Food will be in the front office for student pick up.
6. Bus Routes will be sent out shortly; however, we would ask that, if possible, parents consider dropping students off on the first day so we can explain the process to students thoroughly. They can easily return home via bus on day 1.
7. Breakfast for everyone will be in the Cafe.
8. Morning holding areas:
-9th and 10th - Gym
-11th - Cafe
-12th - Library
